Dashboard guide

Signing in

How administrators sign in to the dashboard with an organization session, and what the admin and member roles can do.

Administrators sign in to the dashboard with your organization's account, not with an API key. Each person has their own login and belongs to your organization; the organization is what Tanitar binds to your tenant.

  1. Open /dashboard on your Tanitar dashboard host. If you are not signed in, you are sent to /dashboard/sign-in.
  2. Sign in with your own credentials.
  3. Select your organization in the organization switcher in the top bar. Personal accounts are disabled for the dashboard: every page works on behalf of an organization.
  4. You land on the overview. Your role is shown next to the organization switcher: Admin, or Member · read only.

If you belong to several organizations, switching organizations in the top bar returns you to the overview and switches the account every Account page works on.

Roles

Your role in the organization decides what you can do in the dashboard.

RoleShown asWhat it can do
org:adminAdminThe dashboard UI enables change controls: create, rotate and revoke API keys; manage webhook endpoints; connect payouts; register Web3 infrastructure; author missions; write shop listings; replay deliveries and dead letters. Account pages enforce the role on the server; Operations calls use the configured API key and its scopes.
org:memberMember · read onlyRead every page. Controls that change something are disabled, with a notice explaining why

Account pages (API keys, webhooks, payouts and Web3) call Tenant Management with your own session, and Tenant Management refuses a change from a member session with 403.

Operations pages (tournaments, economy, gamification, rewards, shop and the rest) act on your tenant through the API key the dashboard is configured with. An action there also needs that key to hold the matching scope: for example, writing shop listings needs shop:mutate. When the scope is missing, the page names it.
