Payouts

Connect your Stripe Connect Standard account, finish onboarding, link recipients and check readiness for prize payouts from Dashboard → Payouts.

Cash prizes are paid from your own Stripe Connect Standard account to each winning player's own connected Stripe account. Tanitar never holds the funds; it instructs the transfer on your behalf and reconciles the result. Dashboard → Payouts (titled Prize payouts) is where you connect that account and keep it ready.

Stripe test-mode keys only: a live Stripe key is refused.

How a prize becomes a payout, and the API for it, is in Payouts.

Connect your Stripe account

  1. In Connected account, select Connect Stripe account.
  2. In Connect a Stripe account, either enter your Existing Stripe account id (acct_…) or leave it empty to have Stripe create a new connected account for you.
  3. Select Connect.
  4. The Finish Stripe onboarding now dialog shows a Stripe onboarding link. Open it and complete Stripe's hosted onboarding, then tick I have opened or copied this onboarding link and select Done. The link is shown only this once and is not stored.

Redirect URLs

The dashboard builds Stripe's two redirect URLs from its own address, so there is nothing to configure:

URLWhere Stripe sends you
Return URL/dashboard/payouts?onboarding=complete, when onboarding is finished
Refresh URL/dashboard/payouts?onboarding=refresh, when the link expired or was already used

Stripe onboarding links expire within minutes. If yours expired, select Re-issue onboarding link to get a fresh one.

Check the account

Connected account shows the account's state, revision, Stripe account id, mode, Stripe's capability flags, the default and allowed currencies, and when onboarding started and completed.

In Readiness, select Check readiness. Tanitar re-reads the account from Stripe and reports one verdict; this moves no money.

VerdictMeaning
ReadyStripe has fully enabled the account and Tanitar advertises the provider
Not readyStripe has not finished enabling the account; finish onboarding
DisabledThe payout account is disabled
Not enabled upstreamThis Tanitar deployment does not offer payouts
Stripe unreachableStripe could not be reached; nothing was changed
Not connectedConnect an account first

Set the currency allowlist

In Currency allowlist, enter the three-letter currencies prizes may be paid in, comma separated, and select Replace allowlist. Only your account's default currency is accepted: no conversion is performed. An empty list allows none.

Each winning player is paid to their own connected Stripe account.

  1. In Payout recipients, select Link a recipient.
  2. Enter the Player id and the player's Stripe account id (acct_…).
  3. Select Save recipient. Tanitar checks the account with Stripe and marks the recipient eligible or ineligible.

Use Edit to change a recipient's account and Remove to unlink it. A player without a recipient cannot be paid until one is linked again.

Follow payouts

Recent payouts lists the ten most recent prize payouts with their status and attempt count (at most 6 attempts). A payout whose send was ambiguous shows Reconcile: select it to ask Stripe what happened before anything is sent again. Refresh all re-reads the whole page.

Disable payouts

Select Disable payouts and confirm. Prize payouts are refused from then on, and no new onboarding link is issued for a disabled account.
