Overview
What Tanitar is
One platform for competitions, progression, rewards and a shop, with one ledger per tenant and every outcome delivered as an event.
Organizers that run gaming activity tend to handle three things by hand: they run brackets in spreadsheets or consumer tools that were never built for prizes, they cannot reward participation between events, and nothing they learn about a player carries over from one event to the next. Sponsors who want to reach those players have no reliable way to verify who took part or to settle a prize.
Tanitar treats all of this as one product.
- A tournament is more than a bracket. It is an enrollment, a check-in, evidence, a result, a correction trail, and a placement that pays out.
- A mission is more than a checkbox. It is a rule that listens to what a player actually did, grants XP, moves a streak, drops a chest and, if you funded it, settles a reward.
- Both feed one ledger per tenant. Everything in that ledger can be read back through the API, the dashboard or a webhook.
How you use it
You get a tenant (an account) that holds everything you own on the platform: players, tournaments, missions, currencies, the ledger, API keys and webhook endpoints. From there:
- Configure your tenant in the dashboard or through the API: currencies, missions, seasons, tournaments, shop listings.
- Connect your players by asserting authenticated players from your trusted backend and giving your client a short-lived Tanitar Player token. See Player identity.
- Receive outcomes as signed webhooks and act on them in your own systems.
What makes it different
- Bring your own identity. Players belong to you. A player signs in with you; your trusted backend asserts its stable external identifier to Tanitar with a dedicated session credential.
- One durable reward path. Tournament placements, mission completions, chest drops, shop purchases and grants you make yourself all settle through the same idempotent ledger with the same audit trail, so you reconcile one thing, not four.
- Events, not polling. Every state change you could care about is delivered as a signed, retried, replayable webhook. The event catalog lists them.
